Sam hadn't slept last night. But hey, he hadn't been entirely unproductive this past weekend. He'd gone into town, gotten himself a job, and now he was eating cereal and was about to fix up his skateboard.

"My pleasure." She sighed, and hid a smirk against his shoulder. "Maybe we'll cut a deal. You tell me what should happen now, and I'll detail what should happen in the evening for you."

Not when his mind was focused on something broad and this required something specific.
