"You trying to jinx it or something, Butters?" Sam joked, before putting his board back on the ground. He figured he could get a few more rides up and down the hall in before people got too annoyed with him.

"I don't swim enough to be good in a flood and I left my boat back in Seattle," he said. He didn't have a boat but the joke didn't work without it.
