Sam forgot about his bloody elbows when he realized where Kate was looking. He glanced at Brooke and then back at Kate and then at Brooke again. Brooke just shrugged.

"Place is weird, my friend," she said, patting him on the back. Sam tried to shrug her off because he was still dealing with the implications here.

"You can see her too?" he asked, sounding surprised. "Brooke? You can see her?"

His bloody elbows could wait.
