Sam hummed quietly and stayed where he was. The last time he'd been close to someone like this, they'd been in a cage and it'd been more for Brid's survival than anything else. Right now, it was just because they both wanted to be close to each other.

It was nice. It was just nice to lay with someone and not have his life be on the line outside this bed.
