Sam hadn't been joking when he said he wasn't the greatest boyfriend so he didn't know to expect surprises like that. He thought he'd done something monumental when he'd changed the pace of their kiss.

One of his hands did brush against the hem of her shirt and they might have just briefly touched some skin there but that might have just been her imagination. And it probably was her imagination when his fingers did that again.
