room 216 ; monday morning
Sometimes, Sam actually did sleep. Without classes to get him up, he'd fallen asleep early this morning and was still sleeping pretty soundly right now. That, of course, meant Sam's ghosts were out.
And no, these were not ghosts in a closet like skeletons in a closet. These were actual ghosts, visages of the dead floating around Sam's sleeping body, shrieking and moaning and keening. Sam's brow crinkled and he was tossing and turning a bit. Somewhere inside his sleeping mind, he knew what was happening but he hoped the ghosts would go away. What he once thought was a nightmare was now just a side effect of his powers.
The ghosts dipped lower, floating helplessly right above Sam's body. He curled up around a pillow and tried to block them out. The ghosts didn't go away. One screamed. Another whimpered.
Sam started looking a little restless.
[Door closed but post open! Seeing the ghosts is reserved for one person so anyone after her will just see Sam looking a little tired. And NFB on the ghosts, of course. Just looks like Sam's having a bad sleep.]

She quirked a little smile at him, not that he'd really see it, and let herself fully feel just how mch she was anticipating kissing him.
The trick there, of course, was letting him feel it too.

He breathed and shuddered a bit.
"Wow. That's...that's really nice."

And now, now she was actually going to kiss him. Playful, not particularly light, and she even used her leg to nudge him closer to her, even though he was plenty close already.

She had a lot of good feelings to project while kissing him. Affection, mostly. The enjoyment she felt at being all tangled up and close with him.

So, he pulled away just briefly and said, "I love you," before closing that distance again and pressing his lips to hers, returning to that kiss.

But then, as had already been noted, she had many ways of conveying her affection. One of them was deepening the kiss a little bit.

Just not yet. She could try repaying him for that tongue thing that had made her shiver, too, with a little flick of her own. And her hand could sneak down to his waist where she slipped it just barely underneath his shirt, skin on skin.

He was gonna be breathless pretty soon too. It was hard not to be with her. She had ways of taking his breath away.

Eventually, Natalie pulled away but didn't go far. Just breathing very close to his lips. Idly brushing her fingers against his skin.

He closed his eyes and sighed quietly.

"Are you happy?"
She wasn't sure why she was asking. It didn't matter.

He sighed and smiled lightly at her.
"Are you?"
no subject
"Yes," she decided.
