room 227 ; sunday afternoon
Jul. 22nd, 2012 01:40 pmThe earthquake last night hadn't woken Sam because he hadn't been asleep. He'd shrugged it off though, counting it as the island having an upset stomach or something. That was Sam for you, ignoring warning signs left and right.
Today, he was actually attempting to work. His infrequently used laptop was open on his desk and he was sitting there, head in hand, perusing through some college websites that his mom had asked him to take a look at. He still hadn't decided if he was even gonna go, he didn't think his grades were good enough and then there was the whole necromancer thing.
It was a depressing task to say the least and that was the reason he kept switching over to play Tetris or Minesweeper or something else just to keep his eyes off the college stuff.
At least it wasn't naked girls, right?
