room 216 ; saturday afternoon
A weekend spent in here and now was a good weekend as far as Sam was concerned. He hadn't even existed last weekend so, slow or not, this weekend was gonna be a good one. He'd spent the morning talking to people in Seattle and he'd even gotten a visit from Ashley. She'd been pretty scarce lately and when Sam had asked about it, she'd just given her head a shake and kept typing on her Blackberry.
Sam took that as meaning she'd just been busy and he needed to not worry. Or something. So, that's what he was doing right now. He was not worrying about anything. He'd gotten mail from his mom and Haley that morning (a care package containing cookies) and he was nibbling on those every so often while exchanging text messages with Ramon.
Poor Ramon was still adjusting to the whole were-bear thing and was bitching about Frank nearly peeing himself when he'd run into a transformed Ramon in the hall and hadn't expected it. Sam was just lucky that Brannoc and his family were around and were helping Ramon through since he wasn't really there right now.
Ramon forgave him and even started sending him stupid, joking text messages about them getting married and running away and living as husband and husband. It was just good to joke with his friend and, for a split second, the part of Sam that was constantly reminding him that he'd go evil one day disappeared.
It was just a second but still, it'd been nice.

Whatever, she was kissing him and resting her hand against the side of his neck.
no subject
And he didn't. He didn't think otherwise so he just leaned up and into her and continued not to argue.
no subject
A little less softly, too.
no subject
Right now, he was just matching her eagerness with some of his own and kind of liking this physical side that she didn't often show. It felt nice. Really nice.
no subject
Because it was really nice.
no subject
One of his arms eventually found its way around her waist, fingers bunching up in her shirt. He was letting her lead things because, well, she was doing a damn good job of it.
no subject
She stayed as she was for a while, just lingering in the kiss, but then she moved that last bit to just be all the way on top of him. Seemed like a thing to do.
no subject
Considering he'd started things out a few feet away from her and now she was on top of him and he was kissing her, he could tell she had a talent for a few things, oh yes.
no subject
A few strands of hair had come loose from her ponytail but that wasn't something she cared about right now.
no subject
He could let her lead things, no problem, but he didn't want to be completely still and she was right there, so close and smelled so good and he wanted to touch her while his mouth was on hers and he was slowly forgetting about anything stupid he'd been thinking about earlier.
no subject
She thought they both thought too much, often, and she could not turn her brain off but she could mute it for a moment to just kiss him and shift a little against him.
no subject
He didn't think she'd mind too much though. He hoped what he was doing (with his lips and his hands and all) would make sure of that.
no subject
... Well, she might've wanted to tell him that if she hadn't enjoyed both the sound and what he'd done to cover it up, and she had. So. No comments. Just kissing him, matching eagerness to eagerness, harsh to harsh. Staying still for the moment, though that may have been just to lull him into thinking she wasn't going to move again.
no subject
One of his hands did brush against the hem of her shirt and they might have just briefly touched some skin there but that might have just been her imagination. And it probably was her imagination when his fingers did that again.
no subject
But then so did he. Because the way she shifted a bit just to get more of that ghost of a touch was entirely imaginary. Really.
no subject
She had the advantage (and he liked that at the moment) but he could still touch her and get familiar with her considering things were still pretty new between them.
no subject
Though it was pretty calculated, the tiny little movement of her hips that put just a hint of more pressure on his, for just a moment.
no subject
Calculated and tiny still drew a reaction from him since he was looking for any sort of thing from her now.
no subject
She pulled back an inch or so just to breathe, just a few breaths before pressing her mouth to his again, almost demanding. Something. Anything.
no subject
That sound she'd made was encouraging and enticing and all kinds of things. Sam scratched his nails against her side, just seeing what that might do to her now.
no subject
And it was rare for her to act on that alone.
no subject
He was still kissing her but he could feel his breath fast leaving him once again. He'd have to breathe soon, breathe and focus and wonder where they were going with this and how far things were going to end up escalating.
no subject
She hadn't really gotten to wondering yet, either, though she'd get there. There were going to be some pretty good questions cropping up.
no subject
During one of their kisses, he actually licked her lower lip in an attempt to change things up slightly. It felt good to do and he wanted to feel good right now.
no subject
Soon she'd have to breathe again, but not yet. With breathing would come clarity, however brief, and she wanted to stay completely fuzzy for a moment longer.
