Go Go Gadget Info Post!
No newbies for me but I like doing info posts anyway. Why not, right? I'll take advantage of my night off! My fingers are freezing so maybe this'll help warm them up! So, here we go, quick and easy!
The Necromancer: Sam LaCroix
The Graveyard Boy: Nobody Owens

And now, I shall linkgrab all these info posts!
The Necromancer: Sam LaCroix
- He's a necromancer! He can raise the dead, control the dead, feels pain when people die, see the dead, read emotions, read the souls of the living and dead, and can push humans mentally
- He didn't know ANY of that until about three months or so ago so he'd still adjusting
- He was tortured by a guy named Douglas Montgomery who was also a necromancer so Sam thinks he's gonna go evil one day. Sigh.
- His back is COMPLETELY scarred. He was attacked by a werewolf. Ow.
- Regularly sees and talks to two ghosts who are his liasions to the dead. If he's talking to them and your character is around Sam, they'll be able to see them as well
- Is dating (and often hitting brick walls) Natalie Adams. He likes the challenge
- Is an easygoing, sarcastic slacker. He was being a smartass to Douglas Montgomery while the guy was torturing him. He doesn't have a death wish, it's just how he is.
The Graveyard Boy: Nobody Owens
- From Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book wherein he is, of course, the main protagonist.
- Grew up in a graveyard being cared for by ghosts, a vampire and a werewolf after his parents were murdered by a secret order that thought Bod would bring their society down.
- British as evidenced by his pale skin and unmissable accent.
- Knows a lot of Latin.
- Has the Latin words SEMPER AD MELIOR tattooed on the side of his torso. It means Always towards better things.
- Enjoys hanging out in the graveyard just for fun. It calms him down and makes home feel a little closer than it really is.
- Generally quiet and very observant
- Is the owner of two fish, inherited from Didi when her time on the mortal plane ended.
- Is totally butt crazy in love with Kate Gregson. Butt crazy, people.
- Butt crazy in love enough to give her a ring. It's not an engagement ring but it was a pretty big move on his part.
- And he, in return, got himself a riiiiiiing! She put a ring on it.
- Is gonna be a bit moody and sad since she's leaving soon but they're doing long distance so he's a little less sad.
- Tends to see vampires very differently than most people. They don't scare him and he usually thinks positively of them until he knows otherwise. That's sometimes...a topic of contention.
- Almost always friendly and very, very curious.
The Demigod: Percy Jackson
- From Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series.
- One of the handful of demigods currently on the island!
- Son of Poseidon which means a lot his powers revolve around water (powers list here). If he's around water and you challenge him, you'll go down.
- On that note, he looks just like Jason Todd save for the streak of grey that Percy has in his hair. Said streak was gained after he took the weight of the world from Annabeth and held it on his shoulders. You might recognize that as the Atlas myth because it is!
- He also bears a resemblance to Bobby McCallister but Bobby's younger and Percy's cuter so if you knew Bobby, feel free to realize!
- He's short tempered, snappish and standoffish but he can also be friendly and fun. It's just a matter of the mood he's in and the day you catch him on.
- He's been expelled from every school he's been in but this one. For him, that's an accomplishment. He's still expecting to be expelled from FH though.
- Is the owner of a GIANT hellhound named Mrs. O'Leary. She lives in the stables because she's legit the size of a tank. If you're a regular normal human, you're just gonna see a poodle because of something called the Mist that obscures demigod things from human eyes.
- He was dating Luke Castellan but then Luke went and started down the path that led to the dark side, Percy dumped him and now they're just...confusing. Luke just went through canon and now he's back and things are...confusing again!
- Has a tattoo on his forearm that looks like this
- Very skilled swordsman (not as skilled as Luke) but sucks at archery.
- Has a sword called Riptide that he always carries around in the form of a ballpoint pen. Greek weapons are cool.
- Is heading towards The Last Olympian whenever I stop being so freaking lazy.
The Immortal: Nathan Young
- From the E4 series Misfits.
- Very, very Irish. His accent is very obvious.
- Late of England
- Extremely vulgar. Believe it or not, I've been toning it down for island purposes but do know if you tag Nathan, he's probably going to toe that NWS line very frequently
- Harmless, though. He likes people though his version of like might mean using them, insulting them, or just generally being an ass to him.
- If Nathan is an ass to you? Please, feel free to yell/punch/kick/hit/report or whatever you'd like. I'm totally and completely open for his actions having consequences.
- He's got a bit of PTSD when it comes to IKEA. It's a long story but he'll gladly tell it and glare if you laugh.
- Has an absentee father that he actively hates.
- Has three tattoos: a star on one wrist, something that I still cannot make out on the inside of his other wrist, and three stars on the right side of his stomach. He's an in denial hipster
- Is from the same canon as
forhisfriends but they're not from the same timeline. Simon's a series ahead.
- Has gone through series 1 of his canon and has gained his immortality! He thinks that's super cool and that he got the best of the abilities that were given out.
- If you think your character might wanna test that out that immortality? Don't hesitate to let me know!
- Don't diss the curly hair. It gives girls something to hold onto and it's just MAGICAL.
The Future Surgeon: Alex Karev
- From the ABC series Grey's Anatomy
- He's a big asshole and he won't apologize for it. He has softened a bit but he's still mostly hard edges and blunt honesty.
- Has a shitty, shitty family life that includes: a drug addicted father who walked out, a mentally ill mother who can't really care for herself, and two siblings in the foster care system.
- Also comes from the foster care system and he bounced around from place to place a lot because no one could really handle him.
- Very aggressive and unwilling to back down from anyone even if they are teen feet tall and ripped.
- Has a fear of vampires after his time spent in the Wishverse and hallucinating his father as a vampire during his time in the Fallout universe.
- Doesn't like getting attached but, of course, he did. Of course.
- Is in love with Effy Stonem though still despite the distance separating them
- Is an alum and is now in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, taking care of his mom and his house and just generally downward spiraling
- Is pretty smart and will parlay those smarts into a wrestling scholarship that will pay his way through medical school in the future.
- Secretly really likes kids. That'll do him well in his future too.
The Reformed Vampire: Hannibal King
- Is from the awfully enjoyable movie Blade: Trinity.
- Is an alumni currently living in New York.
- Spent about three months as a vampire and was recently cured with an RNA injection as per the amazingly un-scientific Blade: Trinity canon.
- He remembers everything he did while he was a vampire and still feels EXTREMELY guilty.
- Was dating Angela but he kind of ruined that when he tried to kill her. They seem to want to try again but he's got many issues that are stopping him from really getting close right now.
- Friendly though a lot more guarded now. He's trying not to get too close in case he's turned again and tries to hurt his friends.
- Currently living with Abigail Whistler who's a member of the Nightstalkers, a group that hunts bad vampires.
- Can't seem to have a normal conversation with his once BFF, Kate Gregson. He's just got a ton of issues and needs to get over them
- Eventually, he will get over himself and join that team so he can go through the complete Blade: Trinity canon.
- Right now, he just mopes a lot and eats Doritos.
The Chick Who Took An Arrow to the Knee: Tracy
- Hi, I'm Tracy and I live in Virginia Beach which puts me in the EST timezone.
- My availability has gone way down because I'm now working at a job where I can't get online during the day and I'm very busy. I try my best with my phone.
- Also, yeah, I totes work for the gecko at GEICO. It's a lovely job but incredibly busy and demanding.
- My New Year's resolution is to try my damndest to get myself back into the playing flow. Just bear with me, guys, cuz I miss you all like burning.
- I work two jobs, one full and one part time. It's exhausting, yes it is.
- I love love love Diet Coke, the Green Bay Packers, The Cleveland Show, and Girl Scout cookies.
- I fell off a ladder two days ago and I'm still pretty sore. So, I've been even scarcer than normal because OW.
- I AM A LEVEL 25 IMPERIAL ON SKYRIM AND JUST RECENTLY BECAME THANE OF THE PALE. I like becoming thanes of different holds.
- ALSO STUPID NURELION ONLY GAVE ME FIVE SEPTIMS FOR GETTING THE WHITE PHIAL GRR ARGH. I just completed that quest. Ahem.
