room 216 ; tuesday afternoon

Sam only had two classes but they were two classes where he was going to be doing something he'd gotten really good at as of late: running. While running hadn't done him any good back in Seattle (except for getting to meet Brid in a magically enchanted cage), Sam was chalking that up to Douglas being a psycho and Michael catching him off guard.

Now, he was tired. It hadn't been that much running but Sam had come back to his room, bottle of water in hand, and flopped down on his bed, eyes on the ceiling. There was nothing of interest there but sometimes Sam slipped back into his slacking ways easily.

"Lazy ass."

Sam knew that voice and didn't even have to turn his head to know that Brooke had popped up from wherever she hung out on the spiritual plane. Sam made a note to ask her about that.

"Shut up, you don't know what I've gone through," Sam whined, glancing over at his friend. Every time he looked at her now, he was just glad she had a head. It was a morbid thought but he couldn't help it.

"Laaaaaazy ass," Brooke chanted and laughed. "You're gonna die before this semester's over."

Sam made an unhappy noise and said, "Shut up." He didn't move and Brooke didn't leave. Sam figured that meant he was in for more taunting.

[Door and post are open. Just a note, unless you can see the dead or you come close enough to Sam, you're not going to see Brooke as she is a ghooooost!]

Butters had to chuckle at the silly suggestion, shoveling things messily back into the bag. "No, just books and pens and stuff!" he promised. "I think we'd have all sorts of animals trying to follow me if they were hamburgers, hopin' to get something to eat..."

Actually, if they were puppies, that would be awfully adorable.

"Plus, that could get kind of smelly after a while."

"Oh, I know I've smelt a lot worse," Butters said, eyes wide a moment as he recalled plenty of extremely unpleasant situations that left him sitting down on his own bed, with the backpack beside him, with relief that he wasn't in any of those right now. "And, nope, I don't have any classes today. Not until Friday! I hardly even know what to do with myself, and so I was just out, seeing the town. And I should have figured that a viking village wouldn't have a Bennigan's, but I wouldn't have known unless I checked for sure, right?"

His legs started to kick a little. "How 'bout you, Sam? You had any workshops yet?"

Butters shrugged a little. "N-no, not really," he admitted. "They weren't really that big back home."

Maybe because Eric Cartman was really the only one to take a glean to it, and most people said that was probably because he was too fat to just walk.

"But that's right, you were in the physical activity class with Mr. Rogers, too, weren't you? That was a lot of work, but it was a lot of fun, too!"
