There hadn't been a lot of sleeping last night. Sure, he'd tried but he'd had a stupid nightmare that had left him breathing hard and sweating. He hadn't wanted to wake up Natalie so he'd grabbed his board and headed out to do...something. He just wanted to shake the nightmare off.

The hours had passed slowly but he'd stayed out the entire night, alternating between skateboarding and walking and sitting on benches both around the island and the mainland. Eventually, the sun started coming up and Sam started making his way back to the room. He stopped to pick up some breakfast on the way and was now slipping back inside the room quietly since it was still early.

He wasn't going to be going back to sleep but that didn't mean he had to wake anyone else up.

"Made you smile," Sam said, tapping a finger against her lips. "Can't take that big cheesy grin back either."

He grinned and kissed the tip of her nose.

Natalie's nose wrinkled up. "I don't grin." There was no arguing with the cheesy part, though. "Ever."

"You grinned," he argued, smirking at her. "Telling you that I love you made you grin like a cheesy cheesy grinning grinner. So there."

"Nope." That was a brilliant argument, right there. "Anyway, I thought you were gearing up to be lustful and take me against the wall."

Distraction!

"I know you're trying to distract me," he said and didn't admit that it was working. He just smiled and leaned down to kiss her again, lingering this time before he glanced around. "Should I get a thing now or wait?"

"You should call things by their names," Natalie teased leaning in to kiss his cheek, then one corner of his mouth. "And yes, you should get a thing now."

"It's a weird word," Sam said, stepping back so he could reach out of the shower for the cabinet. He couldn't really see very well through the steam and all so he was just gonna do this by touch. "And you know what I meant."

Natalie kept leaning against the wall, looking fairly relaxed by her standards. Wet hair clinging to her skin. "It's a word," she said. "Are you not emotionally mature enough to say it yet? I don't think I should be having sex with someone who isn't."

"You don't wanna have sex with me?" Sam asked, finally closing his fingers around a condom and pulling his arm back in. "Well, that's unfortunate. What am I gonna do with this thing now?"

Natalie smirked lopsidedly. "Well I hear balloon animals are really popular with the immature."

"You don't wanna suggest things like that because I will do them," he said, taking a few steps towards her. "And you'll be the proud recipient of a balloon animal."

"But I'm not immature," Natalie pointed out. "That won't impress me."

"I wouldn't be looking to impress you," Sam murmured, stepping closer to her and smirking. "Just annoy you since I would have called your bluff and taken your challenge."

[whenshewasnice]

"It's not a bluff, it's a joke," she retorted, watching him. "And even if it was, I don't think you'd want to annoy me that much."

"I don't wanna annoy you that much," Sam agreed, bending closer to her and stopping just before kissing her. "What do I wanna to you?"

[whenshewasnice]

"Well, I can't read your mind," Natalie told him quietly, "but I'd guess something like sex. You want to keep me between you and the wall and make me appreciate your body some more."

[necroslacker]

"Good guess," Sam said, stepping closer until he could use his weight to push her against the wall. "You're right."

And then he finally did kiss her properly, stopping all talking for the time being. He really hoped he didn't drop the condom while they were in the shower.

Natalie hoped he wouldn't, too. Of course she wasn't necessarily planning to be helpful with that, her hands hands settling on his hips again, nails scratching over skin and pulling him against her.

Sam made sure to grip the condom just about as tightly as he could while kissing her. Now, he just hoped he didn't rip the condom or something. But, he wasn't thinking too much about that while his lips were moving over hers and his hips were pressing into hers.

Yes, he had a lot of thoughts about her against the wall and he was planning on making them a reality soon enough. He just had to get himself amped up first.

That could be arranged. Natalie was deepening the kiss, sliding her tongue against his. Her nails were moving up over his ribs again, too, then dragging over to scratch at his back.

Oh, yeah, and she was also doing her best to be open about what she was feeling. Projecting, even.

It was helping, it was definitely helping. Sam was giving as good as he was getting too. He was responding to the kiss eagerly, pushing his hips into hers and letting her feelings completely envelope him. The hand he wasn't holding the condom with slipped down and hooked under her thigh.

He pulled said leg up against his hip and tried to get closer to her, tried to let her know he was definitely getting hard, yeah.

Natalie made a little noise that said yeah, she could feel that. Also, that was a little wave of lust and excitement coming off of her. Definitely lust. And her nails pressed into his back a little harder, a little sharper.

So far, this experiment in studying sin was going rather well.

Harder and sharper was good. I was very good and Sam would have moaned if his mouth had been free. As it was, he just dove into that kiss a little more and pressed her back into the tiles a little harder. He still had the condom in his other hand and he figured he'd get to using that soon.

For now, it was still foreplay and kissing and his wet body sliding against hers.

All very good things. Natalie was saving her moans for later but she still hummed quietly with appreciation. (See, she was already doing it!) The kiss was leaving her breathless and she knew she was going to have to catch a breath soon, but not yet.

One of her hands left his back to slide over his chest, and the curve of his shoulder. Her nails were still sharp, regardless.

Leaving her breathless? Sam would consider that an accomplishment. Her nails and her lips and her mouth and her everything was really contributing to getting him harder and harder. It wasn't taking much, he was sensitive to her to extreme degrees and he expected that sort of thing.

He kept kissing her, kept trying to make her breathless and kept feeling his skin tingling whenever she raked her nails over him.
